Movement

Quick note for today.  It’s a busy day but thankfully, I got 8 hours of sleep.  So, once my alarm clock (meaning my cat) went off at 6am I slowly awoke and went for a short walk.  I’ve been thinking of the best method to use to make walking a habit:

  • walk a certain distance each day and increase the distance over time
  • slowly incorporate different routes (hills, etc)
  • track my progress

I’m at such an early stage that these tactics were a bit more stressful to consider.  I’ve decided to keep it simple:  sleep enough hours each night  and walk everyday.  The importance now is to incorporate movement into each and every day.
